Audacious Inquiry interns do not make photocopies and brew coffee; we give them a specific summer-long project with milestones and deliverables for which they are responsible. To help the interns understand our business, they write a statement of work for the summer, just liketo the ones we do for our clients.

At the end of the summer, the interns present their project to the entire company. This give interns a chance to work on their presentation and public speaking skills. The AI team provides constructive feedback to the interns after the presentation.

The interns are also assigned a mentor to assist them and guide them throughout their tenure at AI. To teach interns about the industry and the company, AI hosts monthly brown bag presentations.

Company outings are also part of the internship program. Last summer’s lineup included an Orioles Game, an OAR concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion, barbeques, happy hours and lunches. Our interns found housing close to the campus of Johns Hopkins University, where other college students spend their summer.
