Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) has announced that as of September 22nd, half of all of Maryland’s 46 hospitals are live and exchanging data electronically on the statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE). Additionally, CRISP announced that several primary care physician offices in the state, assisted by the CRISP Regional Extension Center (REC) program, have achieved "meaningful use" certification.

The Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) announced yesterday that Maryland has formally "gone live" with its statewide health information exchange (HIE). AI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Harris Corp. to support the implementation of a statewide health information exchange (HIE) in the state of Florida. The project, awarded by Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) under a four-year, $19 million agreement, is intended to improve the delivery and coordination of healthcare throughout the state.
