      Software Engineer

      Audacious Inquiry is seeking a technically-savvy and high-energy professional to fill a Software Engineer position. We are seeking a technology professional with a sound understanding of the .Net platform, C#, and SQL and/or comparable object-oriented programming platforms and database systems. Experience with master data management and/or web development is desirable, though not required. Successful candidate will work with other software engineers and project managers to address customer challenges.

      Successful candidate must have good collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with program/project managers, business analysts and other development resources. The job may entail coordinating development resources and as well as working closely with clients to ensure business needs are met by implemented solutions.

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

      • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Development experience and understanding of the .Net platform, C# or Java
      • Database development experience (SQL and/or DB2 preferred)
      • Web development experience: ASP.net, CSS, XSLT, and Javascript knowledge is preferred though not required.
      • 1-2 years of full SDLC experience on the Microsoft .Net or comparable platform.
      • Great analytical and problem solving skills are required.
      • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals is required.
      • Ability/willingness to drive own vehicle within the Baltimore/Washington area to client sites as needed, as well as possible travel elsewhere to meet client demands.
      • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple job duties, including personal time management and organization skills.
      • Experience in a healthcare or healthcare support industry is preferred through not required.
      • Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
      • Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
      • A desire to be great and a track record of setting and achieving goals is required.
