      Health IT Project Manager

      We are seeking a technically-savvy and high-energy professional to fill a Health Information Technology (HIT) Project Management position. The HIT Project Manager will be responsible for supporting statewide health information exchange activities in the Baltimore/Washington region. The successful candidate will provide critical, day to day support on technical infrastructure, HIE operations, and other projects.
       
      Responsibilities will include: managing administration of HIE technology deployment; training; creating user accounts; managing the process of establishing connectivity with hospitals; managing and resolving support requests from healthcare providers; facilitating ongoing maintenance processes; providing first-tier support for any technical problems for users; and communicating with technology vendors to resolve second and third-tier support issues.  You will also contribute to special projects as needed, including public health initiatives and product integration and user assistance testing.
       

      As an Ai team member, you will participate in large scale hospital system and health exchange projects and must have good communication skills and the ability to work on projects from vision to delivery in partnership with other development resources. The job will entail working closely with healthcare and other clients to ensure business needs are met by implemented solutions.

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
      • 4 year college degree preferred, bachelor’s or masters in Information Systems preferred.
      • 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
      • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts.
      • Understanding of systems integration concepts.
      • Ability to manage priorities, both individually and for a team.
      • Base understanding of Health Information Exchange technology preferred.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
      • Strong technical/computer skills required.
      • Ability/willingness to drive own vehicle within the Baltimore/Washington area to client sites as needed, as well as possible travel elsewhere to meet client demands.
      • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple job duties, including personal time management and organization skills.
      • Experience in a healthcare or healthcare support industry is preferred through not required.
      • Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
      • A desire to be great and a track record of setting and achieving goals.
